The classical resonator was made by request to be cheap and functional without the decoupage effect. It turned out to sound really good and this time I left the magnets on (seeing as they weighed little) and wired up the coils as if they were pickups including serial\parallel and in\out of phase switches and tone for each speaker. No sound can be coaxed from them so far and I suspect I stuffed up the wiring; awaiting dismantling and repair. The coils are horribly unsuited to this anyway but it was worth a try. The two speaker thing definitely helps as when you pull out the sticks driving the speakers one at a time the tone is definitely not as balanced as when both speakers are being driven. She was intended to be decoupaged and was constructed with corresponding lack of respect for the remaining finish and definitely looks rough. My wife thinks it looks good like that. I think it is too heavy and ugly and will make a proper one of it one day.

Another got tweaked a bit, recently got decoupaged and it now appears on the mushroom resonator page.
